CLEMENT LEE

Clement Lee is a leader in the development of the recreational dive industry in the Malaysian state of Sabah. This dive industry pioneer started Borneo Divers over a quarter of a century ago and has introduced recreational diving and dive tourism in Sabah as well as resort management in Sipadan.

As Managing Director and a founding partner of Borneo Divers & Sea Sports, he was among the first to build a dive resort on the famous Sipadan Island in 1989.

He became a dive master and PADI instructor in 1985 and six years later became the first ever PADI Course Director in Malaysia. Lee has actively promoted conservation and environmental protection efforts and is involved in Project AWARE and other various clean up activities.
