The two story, 2 bedroom/3 bath “Ocean Pearl” is a corner unit surrounded by windows that flood the villa with Caribbean sunshine. With an open concept design and 10 foot ceilings throughout, the home is bright and spacious. Though the unit has its own central air conditioning you may seldom use it as the plantation shutters and multi panel doors open to create a seamless transition to outdoor spaces (screened lanais), inviting cool trade breezes and spectacular ocean views.
The master bedroom highlights include a private balcony, jetted soaker tub, king bed, and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom has two twins that can be made into a king using a conversion kit, depending on guest preference, and a second full bathroom. For larger groups, there is a queen convertible sofa in the living room with a half bath on the ground floor main level for convenience.
The fully stocked kitchen with breakfast bar looks out to an ocean/pool view. Appliances include dishwasher, range, microwave, side-by-side fridge with ice maker and water dispenser, Keurig and standard coffee makers, and a blender. Should you choose not to cook, there are several simple and elegant ocean side restaurants within 10 minutes of the property that offer food and entertainment. There is also an outdoor grill, picnic basket, coolers, beach chairs and towels for guests to enjoy beach picnics here or at any of Grand Cayman's fabulous beaches.
Steps from our ground floor lanai is a freshwater pool surrounded by cobblestone decking and mature gardens that lead to a private 240 foot white sand beach and dock. Enjoy the thatch covered cabana at the end of the dock that's perfect for watching sunsets and passing rays or turtles. The dock also features a swim ladder and platform for easy access to world class snorkelling and shore diving at Babylon. Guests are welcome to wander down the beach after bonefish on nearby sand flats. The natural beach provides a great opportunity for beachcombing and exploring tidal pools, while the grounds host a variety of birds including Cayman parrots and Caribbean doves.
Other amenities of the unit include free WiFi, free local calls, washer/dryer, and flat screen TV's with full cable packages in both the living room and master bedroom. There is also a stereo and blue-ray player to enjoy a variety of classic music and movie disks housed in the entertainment center. The rental includes weekly housekeeping with additional maid and grocery delivery services available upon request. We have an on-island unit manager available to assist guests and we are licensed with the Ministry of Tourism and Accommodation.
