The villa is set within the largest private grounds in the area and enjoys 400 feet of exclusive beachfront as well as lush, tropical vegetation that assures complete privacy. Guests also benefit from complimentary housekeeping and will enjoy designer furniture mixed with antique pieces, and an art collection of original works by major Caymanian artists who all feature in the collection of the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. Les Jalousies' blend of modern Caribbean and classical European style is the epitome of understated elegance and refinement. While the property's location at the very end of the Cayman Kai road means that it is very secluded, Les Jalousies is only a 5-10 minutes walk away from the Kaibo Yacht Club, which comprises a beach bar and grill, coffee shop and gourmet restaurant upstairs. The Rum Point Beach Club is also very close (5 minute drive), so the villa is ideally located for guests seeking privacy and seclusion in an exclusive area with access to some nearby bar/restaurant options . On arrival, guests will be welcomed by our 24/7 property manager for an introductory tour of the property and assistance with any questions or requests. Throughout the stay, the villa’s dedicated housekeeper (who resides in a cottage on the grounds) will provide light housekeeping services and attend to the property, ensuring that amenities such as the grill, pool and beach are always clean, the fire in the firepit is ready to be lit and that guests are comfortable throughout their stay. For guests wanting more assistance during their stay, our dedicated concierge service, Minerva Cayman, is able to recommend and arrange restaurant bookings, private charters, private chefs, butler services, chauffeurs, grocery deliveries, and anything else that may assist you in getting the most out of your visit. Within the main villa, the open-plan principal room features a vaulted ceiling and wall-to-wall glass doors that open onto a veranda with panoramic views of the beach and the sea. A marble island separates the living area from the kitchen, which features top-of-the-range kitchen appliances, including two fridges, a large freezer, two wine coolers, two dishwashers, two sinks, a gas hob and a steam oven. The west wing of the villa houses the Master Suite (beach front), while the east wing is shared by a Queen Suite (beach front), a Twin Suite (garden view), a Media Den which can be converted into an additional bedroom (twin or King), and a separate guest bathroom. Outside the villa, the grounds provide 400 feet of exclusive beachfront, the largest of any private residence in the Cayman Kai and Rum Point area. There are open beach front areas, two docks, two small shaded coves, a croquet lawn and a formal French parterre garden. For al fresco dining, the large thatched cabana has a dining table that seats 8 to 10 and the nearby firepit with Adirondack chairs is the perfect spot for after-dinner drinks. One of the private docks ends with another thatched cabana, and is the ideal spot for watching sunrises and sunsets, seated on one of the swing benches, morning coffee or sundowner in hand. The 30ft saltwater pool is the perfect place to cool off while taking in the views of the sea and the beach after sunbathing on one of the sun loungers or garden hammocks. Complimentary leisure equipment includes 2 tandem kayaks, a Pico sailboat, snorkelling equipment, Pétanque and croquet.
