Calling all dive lovers: ISDHF Exhibition

Calling all dive lovers: ISDHF Exhibition

At the end of this month the Cayman Islands National Museum will play host to some of the world’s most treasured scuba diving artefacts in a unique partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.

For the first time ever these sought after tokens of scuba diving history will be on display for you and the whole family to enjoy as there will be an underwater themed children’s gallery to educate them about the sport of scuba diving.

The exhibition will be made up of three rooms. The main gallery will host the artefacts, the second gallery will focus on pioneers of the Cayman Islands diving industry and the third will be the gallery for children.

The National Museum prides itself as being the living connection to Cayman’s past and is a national treasure itself. It is the oldest public building in the Cayman Islands and was originally used as a jail, courthouse, dancehall and post office.

The exhibition opened on November 26th and will run until November 2017. Find out more here.
