United Kingdom
The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism’s London office promotes the Cayman Islands to the UK, Continental Europe (e.g. Germany, Italy, and France), Asia and the Middle East in a number of different ways. However, due to British Airways being the sole carrier from this region, the office focuses on the UK and Ireland. The UK team specifically targets the luxury market and the 45+ age group with a household income of £100k per year looking for an unforgettable experience when choosing their holiday.
Departments
The London office comprises a small team, soon to be at its maximum of five members of staff with the addition of a Sales Representative. Collectively, the team looks after all aspects of public relations, advertising, marketing and promotion of the Cayman Islands to both travel trade and consumers. This is accomplished with print and online advertising, social media, e-newsletters, attending trade and consumer shows, hosting travel trade and Visiting Journalists FAM trips, affinity partnership promotions, travel trade trainings and consumer enquiry fulfilment.
