Immersed Workshop

Workshop Summary

Launched in March 2021, Immersed is a hands-on learning series that focuses on authentic Caymanian cultural heritage, one experience at a time. These 90-min sessions are designed to help Cayman’s tourism industry accurately share with visitors our cultural heritage and preserve these traditions for generations to come.

Participants will learn how to prepare Caymanian dishes, sail catboats, thatch rope/plaiting, and more.  Each session is conveniently held outside of office hours at community-based locations.  Spaces are limited so early registration is encouraged. Don’t miss this opportunity to be immersed in Authentic Cayman!

  • Tourism service providers with direct visitor contact.
  • Employees with indirect visitor contact (back-of-house staff, educators, students, etc.).
