AHLEI & WSET Front of House Course

Modules to be covered during this 5-day course include:

  • AHLEI START Certified Restaurant Server
    • When it comes to an outstanding dining experience, guests rely on restaurant servers. They're the ones who make them feel welcome, can explain the menu, serve food, and provide all-around great service from the time guests arrive until they are ready to leave. The Certified Restaurant Server recognizes the high level of professionalism needed to succeed and to bring outstanding service to every guest.
  • WSET Level1 in Wines
    • In this course you will refine your wine palate by engaging key sensory areas such as sight, smell, and taste. You’ll develop a systematic approach to wine tasting, as well as learn key styles of wine and recognize characteristics of important grape varieties. You’ll finish off this experience by learning the key principles of food and wine pairing and how to apply these to your own food and wine choices. Successful students will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
  • WSET Level1 in Spirits
    • This hands-on course will guide you, using sight, smell, and taste,
      through the world’s key spirit categories and production methods.
      The course is designed to introduce spirits in an interactive,
      structured and concise manner. You'll learn how to taste spirits
      using a systematic approach. Successful students will receive a
      WSET certificate and lapel pin.
  • Education Distillery Tour and spirits knowledge
