The Cayman Islands Ready To Welcome Acclaimed British Chef Clare Smyth To The Twelfth Annual ‘Cayma

The world’s best chefs gather on Seven Mile Beach for annual culinary celebration

Culinary Capital of the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands is set to welcome award- winning UK chef, Clare Smyth MBE to its celebrity line-up of chefs taking part in the prestigious culinary event, Cayman Cookout from 15-19 January 2020.

Clare will be the first female UK chef to participate in the Caribbean celebration of food and wine which brings together talented chefs, wine and spirit experts, and culinary tastemakers from around the world. Guests at the Ritz-Carlton will enjoy dynamic cooking demonstrations, exclusive tastings and dining events, exciting local tours and unique epicurean experiences.

With the spectacular back-drop of Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach, Cayman Cookout is co-created and hosted by Eric Ripert, Michelin Star chef, co-owner of Le Bernardin in New York as well as Blue by Eric Ripert at the Ritz-Carlton. Other global culinary stars will include José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse, Daniel Boulud, Andrew Zimmern, Normand Laprise, Pano Karatassos, Dominique Crenn, Stephanie Izard, Laeticia Rouabah, and Niki Nakayama.

Clare Smyth commented: “I’m delighted to be heading back to the Cayman Islands to join in with the special atmosphere and excitement of Cayman Cookout. The food movement in the Cayman Islands is phenomenal using local resources to create incredible dishes. It really is a real home from home in paradise.”
