Tourism Stipend Update: Deadline to Respond on 7 July 2020

The deadline to submit the banking information for the displaced tourism employee stipend is today, Tuesday, 7 July 2020 at 12:00 PM (Noon). Emails have been sent to verified applicants and they are encouraged to respond swiftly to finalise the payment distribution process. Applicants should check their spam or junk folder, noting that this correspondence went to verified persons only

The Ministry of Tourism requires your banking details to include for stipend payments currently being processed and are reliant on the banking information submitted to be accurate. The Ministry of Tourism is progressing in order to process the stipend payments via local wire (EFT).

To accommodate persons with questions pertaining specifically to the official email and instructions on banking details, the call centre will be open today Tuesday July 7th during the hours of 9:00 am – 12noon.

The displaced tourism employee stipend is part of the overall Cayman Islands Government assistance plan for those who were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
