Inbound Travel Requirements

When checking in at originating airport, all passengers must present:
  1. Certificate to Travel issued by Travel Cayman
  2. Negative certified rapid test (can be self-administered, if video observed by AZOVA) or a PCR test the day before departure with a negative result, this is required for all travellers age 5 and older.
    Your test should show:
    i. Name of traveller
    ii. Date sample was collected
    iii. Negative result
iv. Name and address of the approved laboratory where the test was performed
  3. Proof of fully vaccinated status
  4. Plus any other standard documents required for travel
Though not required to show at the airport, it is also required that all visitors have medical insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage. (Confirmation of medical insurance is part of the process when applying to Travel Cayman.)

Testing Requirements

All inbound travellers age 5 and older must take a certified rapid test or a pre-arrival polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test the day before departure. Proof of a negative certified rapid test or PCR test result must be presented upon check-in at the airport.
"Departure" is defined by the departure of any connecting fight or transit flights to the Cayman Islands, where the layover between flights is no more than twelve hours. This means a traveller should have proof of a negative test result twelve hours prior to their take off time to arrive in the Cayman Islands. We suggest that travellers check for rapid testing sites within the airports they are travelling through.

Rapid Testing Providers

As an easy home-based solution, travellers can order a rapid antigen test that can be self-administered and taken pre-arrival, if video proctored by an administrator. Please note that this service is currently only available for inbound travel to the Cayman Islands. Click here to learn more about AZOVA.
