Outbound Travel Guidance

When returning home, it is the responsibility of the traveller to research the requirements of the country they are flying to. Several countries require a rapid test or a PCR test. Travelers may use their Cayman Islands mandated LFT (rapid test) as their departure test, if it aligns with the test and timing requirements of the country they are flying to.

Effective Dec 6, 2021, all travelers (2 years and older) entering or returning to the U.S. must present proof of a negative PCR or antigen viral test taken no more than 1 calendar day before departure, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19, before boarding their flight—or they will be denied boarding. Additional requirements may vary based on your age, vaccination status, or whether you tested positive for COVID-19 within 90 days prior to departure.
