Film

The Cayman Islands Film Commission (CIFC) is a government agency which was transferred to the Department of Tourism in 2014. Originally established in January 2009 as part of the Cayman Islands Investment Bureau, the CIFC is mandated with the promotion and development of the Cayman Islands film industry.

The department facilitates productions with permitting and licensing, as well as providing creative input from development and pre-production through post-production. The CIFC acts as a liaison between all film/photography producers and all relevant Government agencies.

The CIFC does not solicit productions; however, companies interested in filming in the Cayman Islands should reach out to Cayman Islands Film Commission.
