School of Hospitality Studies

The School of Hospitality Studies (SHS) is a joint venture between the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Education, University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) and industry partners from the Cayman Islands.

The high-energy, one-year Certificate Programme allows students to gain valuable on-the-job training from some of the industry's top leaders while earning an internationally recognised certificate through City and Guilds.

In fall 2016, the SHS launched a new Associate of Applied Science Degree in Hospitality Management. This programme allows a more concentrated focus on tourism and hospitality education with the primary aim of broadening students' knowledge of the industry overall by blending theory with real-world experiences.
