The Ministry of Tourism is currently seeking nominations for individuals who have made a significant contribution to the diving community in the Cayman Islands to be recognized at the 2024 International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Nominee Category:
Honouree
An individual who has made a significant contribution by leading or aiding in the areas of water sports & dive in the Cayman Islands prior to 2013
Emerging Honouree
An individual who has made a significant contribution by leading or aiding in the areas of water sports & dive in the Cayman Islands from 2013 and is under the age of 35
Criteria for submission:
In order to be considered for this award, the individual must have made a significant contribution by leading or aiding in the areas of water sports & dive in the Cayman Islands through:
- Development of the dive and/or watersports industry in the Cayman Islands
- Promotion of the dive and/or watersports industry in the Cayman Islands
- Positive environmental impact
- Contribution may be made in the areas of dive travel
- Art
- Education
- Exploration
- Adventure
