Cayman’s annual Easter Regatta is a highlight of the local sailing calendar, bringing together experienced sailors and spectators for an exciting round-the-island race. Organised by the Cayman Islands Sailing Club and sponsored by Harbour House Marina, the event features a challenging 45-mile course starting from the North Sound and heading east around Grand Cayman.
Sailors also have the option of a shorter course, while spectators can watch the fleet from popular viewing spots such as Tukka East, Ocean Frontiers and Over the Edge. On Easter Saturday, some boats will compete in the Back to North Sound Race, sailing 12 miles back to the North Sound to complete the island circuit. Crew places are often available for those who wish to participate.
