  • Jane Scaletta

    Deputy Director, International Marketing and Promotions

    Jane Scaletta joins the department as the Deputy Director, International Marketing and Promotions. Ms. Scaletta is responsible for the Department of Tourism’s international marketing and promotions including digital marketing and social media, local and international industry relations, brand management and development, and oversight of the Cayman and overseas offices in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America.
    Having over 35 years of industry experience managing large travel and tourism companies, her professional career started in a travel agency, where she quickly moved up the ranks to managing high-end luxury incentive travel programs. She worked for one of the largest meeting and incentive companies in the U.S.; managed two destination offices for the largest Destination Management Company (DMC) and worked for a tri-State Destination Marketing Organization (DMO). Ms. Scaletta also possesses firsthand experience in the Cayman Islands tourism market, having previously been the Executive Director of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) as well as holding appointments on the Cayman Hotel Licensing Board (HLB); regionally, she was also on the board of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). Ms. Scaletta was also involved in the community as a Board member of the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation (CIEF) and Secretary of Cayman Associated Schools of Karate (CASK).
    Ms. Scaletta has a passion for sustainability and was awarded MeetingsNet Changemaker of the Year in 2019 for her sustainability efforts in the tourism industry. She is a member of the Society of Incentive Travel for Excellence (SITE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She is proud to be a Caymanian impacting the tourism industry in the Cayman Islands.
