become Cayman’s first-ever Chief Relaxation Officer

Vacations aren’t as relaxing as they should be.

Between over-planning, early alarms, and the constant need to capture “content,” most travelers come home more tired than when they left.

That’s why the Cayman Islands is hiring the world’s most relaxing role: Chief Relaxation Officer (CRO).

ready to be our
Chief Relaxation Officer?

The CRO will help redefine what it means to truly take time off – no stress, no schedules, no FOMO. Just island time. This role isn’t about doing nothing, it’s about doing less, intentionally. Your “work” will be to show the world how slowing down can actually restore us.

because in the
Cayman Islands, rest isn’t a reward - it’s a way of life.

Our Chief Relaxation Officer will spend two blissful weeks on Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac mastering the art of slowing down, from floating in turquoise waters and savoring fresh food to unplugging on the beach.

  • Spend daily time by the water - floating, reading, or doing nothing at all.
  • Enjoy fresh local dishes like coconut ceviche.
  • Sip island cocktails at iconic beachfront spots.
  • Dine with locals to learn their relaxation rituals.
  • Explore nature and meet rare island species like the Blue Iguana or Cayman Parrot.
