                                     Rosa Harris,
                                  Director of Tourism

As we all navigate the ever-changing realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Tourism and
Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) continue to work tirelessly to implement programming
and provide resources to help guide our partners and our people on the best path forward for our return to
            tourism.
We have been nimble and flexible in our marketing efforts across key platforms to reflect an ever-changing
tourism landscape. We are proud of our recent efforts to launch the Global Citizen Concierge Program
(GCCP). As thousands of corporations opt to keep their workforce at-home for the foreseeable future, eligible
professionals and families can upgrade their home offices by choosing to live and work remotely in the
Cayman Islands for up to two years. GCCP has generated more than 70 applications thus far, and there is a
significant number of inquiries coming from high net worth individuals.
From webinars and virtual events to leading-edge communications on the current and future state of
tourism, the CIDOT's marketing efforts have supported the CIG's response to COVID-19 and reinforced the
Cayman Islands as a premier tourist destination that is “worth the wait”. This year, marketing efforts have been
designed to safeguard Caymankind, so that the destination continues to meet and exceed travelers' expectations
            in a post-COVID world.
