Casa Tortuga

Casa Tortuga is a secluded villa for those guests looking for peace and quiet, privacy and relaxation on 180 feet of private beach! Located in Frank Sound, on the south shore of Grand Cayman, this villa sits right on a magnificent beach facing south, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The views from the villa and the outside gazebo and pool area are breath-taking, proving that paradise does exist! Casa Tortuga is a single level home, that was completed renovated and redecorated in 2016. It boasts 3 good sized bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living/dining area, all on the ground level. The sliding doors and large windows let it plenty of natural light, and the breezes are incredible if you wish to open up and experience the cool sea air during your stay. The outdoor gazebo and tropical breezes will entice you to sit outdoors and relax throughout the day, whether with your morning coffee, a quiet lunch with friends, or sunset cocktails at the end of a busy day! This home is named Casa Tortuga for a reason! The owner loves turtles and this is evident throughout the home with the unique décor and furnishings. This home is great for many combinations of guests: one small family, a group of friends, or couples who enjoy vacationing together but prefer some privacy and relaxation. The home sits on a fenced in 2 acre plot, and has a winding driveway, lined with lush coconut trees, to the front door. You will find yourself surrounded by lush tropical gardens and only steps away from the beautiful calm and balmy Caribbean Sea. This area has some of the best snorkelling on island where you may be lucky enough to spot a turtle or two! After an afternoon of playing in the sea you can relax and lounge around the pool and enjoy the warm tropical breezes. There is a gas BBQ for the chef in the group to grill up some fresh fish which can easily be purchased from a local fisherman. Breakers is within a 5 minute drive of the property, so if you don’t feel like cooking, you can go to the Lighthouse Restaurant which has incredible local and international dishes. Alternatively, Bodden Town is a historic area, about 10 minutes away, right in the middle of the Island, and it’s full of charm and personality. Travel 10 miles northeast to Rum Point, with its famous beach bar/restaurant and water sports; 5 miles east to East End, a quaint residential area with several great restaurants and beachside bars. 10 miles west takes you to bustling George Town and Seven Mile Beach with its pristine coastline, shopping plazas, water sports, entertainment and a large variety of spectacular restaurants and bars.
